LOUISIANA, Mo. — Diana Huckstep was named 2020 Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year during a recognition social April 8.

She received the award for her tireless efforts on behalf of the community.
The chamber member of the year was D. Randall Cone and Louisiana Mayor Kathy Smith offered an update on city projects. .
Ebers also recognized Pike County Memorial Hospital and medical employees Lisa Pitzer, Dorman Warren, Kelly Miller, Amber Penrod and Phil Quattrocchi for their efforts during the COVID pandemic. The pandemic caused the ceremony to be delayed. Ebers assured the audience that “there are definitely better times ahead” for Louisiana.
