KJFM SPORTS — The Louisiana Bulldogs watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-6 loss to Highland on Monday.
Bulldogs collected nine hits and Highland had nine in the high-scoring affair.
Louisiana got things moving in the first inning when Cameron Hunt drove in one when Hunt singled. The Bulldogs then notched three runs in the fourth inning. Hunt had an RBI double in the inning to lead the run scoring.
Kenny McCormick toed the rubber for Bulldogs. He went three and a third innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out three. Brady Fisher threw three and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.
Bulldogs tallied nine hits. Brady Sheppard and Hunt all managed multiple hits, while Sheppard led the team with three hits in four at bats.
