Sen. Fitzwater and Rep. Perkins Secure $100,000 for Pike County Memorial Hospital
JEFFERSON CITY – Sen. Fitzwater and Rep. Perkins are pleased to announce that Pike County Memorial Hospital will be receiving $100,000 for upgrades essential to its facility. Perkins said, “Rural healthcare has been under tremendous strain from a variety of factors, and this money will go a long way in alleviating those strains. I will always fight for my constituents to have access to quality local healthcare facilities, and will continue that fight while I’m serving as your state representative.” Perkins added, “In addition to my efforts, I want to note that the efforts of PCMH CEO Tylie Mills and CFO Jeff Van Horn to secure this funding was indispensable, along with that of our Budget Chair Cody Smith.”
This money will be used by PCMH to renovate and update their surgical area to meet current regulatory standards and sustain crucial surgical services in the community.
Senator Fitzwater represents the 10th District, which includes Callaway, Lincoln, Montgomery, Pike and part of St. Charles CountyRep. Perkins represents District 40 in the Missouri House of Representatives, which includes Pike and part of Lincoln County
