PIKE COUNTY, Mo. — Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has recently awarded a grant to Pike County Memorial Hospital to purchase a 2023 Polaris UTV. The new equipment will allow our first responders to be better prepared in emergency situations and protect the citizens of Pike County.
“On behalf of Pike County Memorial Hospital and the community, I want to thank Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and our local Firehouse Subs in Quincy, IL said PCMH CEO, Tylie Mills. “We are so grateful to be awarded the necessary resources to continue to keep Pike County safe and protected.”
The UTV will be used to aid in the emergency medical response by EMS to Pike County Missouri. A majority of the county is farm land and gravel roads, and this increases the risk of medical needs in the in the locations that would not be easily accessed or potentially inaccessible with an ambulance. The grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation will allow us to provide the best possible care for our community.
On Thursday, July 17th at 11 am, there will be an Open House at Pike County Memorial Hospital to showcase the new UTV to the public.
For the past 16 years, donations have been the driving force behind Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® supporting first responders and public safety organizations nationwide. To learn more about Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation or donate directly, visit FirehouseSubsFoundation.org.
