CLARKSVILLE, Mo. — Sixteen-year-old musician Ruby Leigh wowed a large crowd at The Raintree Arts Council Apple Shed during Clarksville Applefest Oct 15. The Foley singer is featured on season 24 of the NBC television program “The Voice.” Leigh sang such favorites as “Streets of Bakersfield,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Crazy,” “Jolene,” “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” “Suspicious Minds,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Delta Dawn” and “Smoke in the Mirror.” Her yodeling on “Cowboy Sweetheart” — the song she performed for “The Voice” audition — brought a huge ovation. Leigh also played “Thanks a Lot,” one of the first songs she performed at age nine.
