Northeast Missouri native Sean Nicholson, the campaign manager for the Vote No on Amendment 3 effort, will be the featured speaker in a virtual town hall on Thursday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m. Amendment 3 seeks to repeal portions of the Clean Missouri amendment, which was approved by voters in 2018. Prominent Democrats and Republicans have joined together to oppose Amendment 3.
Local residents can view the town hall in-person at Spring Hollow Coffee Shop, 211 West Church Street, Bowling Green. Following Nicholson’s remarks detailing the virtues of Clean Missouri, attendees will be able to ask specific questions regarding the proposed Amendment, Clean Missouri’s implementation, and sign-up to help campaign against the proposed amendment locally.
As the Vote No On Amendment 3 effort is a bi-partisan statewide effort, the public is invited to attend. There is no cost associated with attending the town hall, which is sponsored by the Pike County Democratic Club.
