BOWLING GREEN, Mo.—It’s Senior Night in Bowling Green, as the Lady Cats and Bobcats welcome in the Wellsville-Middletown Lady Tigers and Tigers for a friendly game of basketball.
The Lady Cats head into the contest with a 9-13 record. The Lady Tigers will bring a 14-8 record with them to Bowling Green, looking to make it 15-8. Bowling Green is currently on a two-game winning streak against the Lady Tigers, with their last win coming in 2021. Wellsville is coming off a win against the Van-Far Lady Indians 60-39. Bowling Green averages 44 points per game, while they allow 42 points per game to their opponents. Wellsville scores 47 points per game, while they allow 34 points per contest. The Lady Cats basketball team will have just two seniors getting honored, Grace Deters and Kaelynn Wommack.
The Bobcats head into the game with an even 9-10 record. The Tigers head to Bowling Green with a 9-12 record. The Bobcats dropped the last game they played against the Tigers, 47-43. Bowling Green still has the edge in the all-time series however, with a 13-5 record against the Tigers. Wellsville is coming off a loss to the Van-Far Indians, 73-42, while the Bobcats defeated the Indians twice earlier in the season. The Bobcats basketball team will have six seniors honored, those being; Gunner Bryant, Brandon Gamm, Jackson Charlton, Nate Krumnwiede, Marcus Starks, and Camden Fisher.
